Week 4: Nothing Wrong Here
Over this past week we learned the basics of handling and giving errors in Python. This included making the classes, try/except statements as well as integrating custom output into our programs along with these new errors. I felt these lectures to be quite helpful as being a novice programmer such as myself, you tend to run into many errors when programming and inputting into Python. This helped me greatly as with the innovation of customizing and implementing custom error names and error messages, the user or someone like myself, would no longer be dumbfounded by very generic terms such as VALUEERROR or EXCEPTION. Using these new implementations, not only are we able to deduce the general line the error, but we are accurately able to pinpoint our mistake in out logic, syntax, or input. I feel that the addition of creating and handling errors will greatly benefit the clarity and potential of all other programs I write in the future and I hope to learn more and more ways to continuously and effectively apply and innovate these methods I've been taught.
